It's gotta be so hard to write at 212 bpm, but it works! Seconding that_ranjit, some really neat samples when it switches up. I also grew up listening to happy hardcore music, and bits of it did bring me back. nice work!

DREAM GENRE MUSIC. This is awesome. Cool beats going on in the beginning, and that switch up at 1:22 is amazing. Agree that it needs to be a touch crunchier (HIT ‘EM), but this is fantastic all on its own.

(Side note - never listened to Happy Hardcore as a genre, only familiar with the name because it’s a drum preset on my MC505 )

I thought the same thing when I heard your version as well! Gonna give it another shot. why not 20 weekly beat tracks left in 2024.

In retrospect it's the most annoying genre ever but I loved it at the time.

Thank you! 212 is a little too fast. I just end up skipping the beat a little, but maybe i should start at a low BPM, then ramp up so I don't cheat.
