I started with a loud, blown out, distorted bass and built a track around it. Ultimately, I think all of the backing bits sound a bit better without the blown out bass, and the bass almost sounds a bit... flat? Didn't want to drop it entirely so played with bringing it in and out of the mix. Overall the piece feels a bit incomplete, and maybe could be more fully developed or incorporated into a different track in the future.
VEKA is an Esperanto word that means "awake," which was mainly chosen because of the vocal sample I used.
