JELPI

I was playing with a few different tracks this week up until Saturday night; but wasn't super happy with them, and didn't have any great ideas to fill them out. I felt like they all still had some potential, so instead of forcing one to work, I started something completely different  this morning (4/21). Scrolling through a bunch of samples,  I heard a police siren and decided to build something off of it. I made a pretty hyper track comprised mostly of samples that defensem3ch posted on the Dirtywave discord. I've used this pack in previous tracks, but not to this extent. The only thing that didn't come from it was the kick drum (which came from dw01 synthdrums), car noises, and all of the police chatter. The car and police chatter sounds were all found on freesound (CC0).

The track name, JELPI, is the Esperanto word for "yelp" which is the type of police cruiser siren that's driving the track.

This was a quick one, but any feedback is welcome!

I'm having flashbacks of 90s raves and getting arrested!  Fun.
