Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

No time this week to experiment - just crank! First project with the M8 Model 2 and I don't even get to use the internal mic, though it was really nice to crank out a whole tune and still have over half the battery left. Not happy with all the sounds, but I've run out of time to fiddle around.

That first bass hit was great, a real sit up and take notice moment. I like how the entire composition is based around it - that hit, then build up to something more complex, but then strip back to that hit.

Thanks! That initial hit is a tweaked version of that Solid Bass patch I've been enjoying. It's so hard for me to keep things simple!
The M8 Model:02 does all the same stuff but with three quality of life improvements: built-in mic (it has always sampled but the mic makes it easier to get stuff on the go), larger screen, and larger battery with about 12 hrs battery life. It also has USB-C now instead of Micro B. Very slick!
Very nice! I like the darker and grittier vibe this has. Btw, the very beginning REALLY reminds me of Michael Jackson's "Beat It".
