I recently had to have my dog put to sleep. She was my greatest friend from me being 14 until now (28). I wrote this song about her last day which was incredibly difficult. I imagine the song as a proper goodbye to her. Enjoy!

I always enjoy your lyrics, there’s always a storytelling flow to them…but oh man I was right there with you…and remembering when I put my cat to sleep. You captured that feel of moment to moment and helplessness in the face of family you can’t do anything for…except that final kindness.
