a bird in a tree
inspired me
to make a melody
and offer it to thee
subconsciously, slightly inspired by Henry Mancini's Breakfast at Tiffany's

there's a bird up a tree
and I wish I could fly
so that I could get up there
and see....
what it feels to be high
in the sky but I know
it's gonna be pretty hard
cause I'm just a doggy...

I know I'm not a bird
but I can imagine
that feelin' of SOARING
thru the sky
I know that feeling
to be held spinnin'
by my human
in the yard
maybe it's not so hard....
