fog catcher

Our hero climbs to the top of the factories that block the big city from sunlight. Here, they emerge into the fresh night air, where all the bustling noise of the city streets and the factory floors has died away. Here, there is finally total quiet, except for the breeze that moves the giant fog catchers to and fro. They bring fresh water to the city, they give live to the people toiling away below to find their destiny. And they create stunning sounds as the wind moves through them.

On top of the domes of the city you can just make out the line of mountains on the far side of the desert, lit by the full moon. Our hero enjoys the quiet and the breeze, catching their breath below the twinkling stars, bracing for the adventures that await them.

Inspired by the grandiose new soundpack for minifreak by Substan. I started with the brokenpad and brokenkeys sounds, added sound fx from the syntakt and sampled a kalimba as an additional lead instrument.
