this tune was heavily inspired by weezer

Made with Bitwig's native synths and Fanu's chopped-up and processed breaks. No mastering has been done, just basic mixing. I'm planning to expand this track later on, but it still works as a self-contained little tune.

This is jazzy AND glitchy - I'm in love!

I don't know much about weezer's musical output, but I REALLY enjoyed this. The dnb-stuff at the beginning plays super well with the calmer pads. The high pitched melodic line is also a super nice touch. The bubbling more acid-sounding synth also works super well, it sounds like it's kind of drowning but sometimes resurfacing, but mostly on a downwards trend. Really enjoying the complexity here, super cool!

I don't know enough about Weezer other than it's 4 guys in front of a blue screen, but I do know this song is pretty intense in the extra bits it's got going on.
