Sorry everyone had to duck out of your stream for the M8 meetup on Saturday; the final song feels like disasterpeace vs the vocaloids.   Speaking of: howtf did you even get that Hyperspace Light Drifter vibe out of the FM instrument?

Hey, thanks again for the praise on Evermore, it was really encouraging. TBH, I think beyond just the sound (which is basically just FM without too much modulation), I think it's more the harmony/progression giving it those vibes. As I was saying on stream I noticed when first listening to DP how a lot of his choices are ones I tend to make, or similar. It's like we're kindred in that way, or something. haha

i'm automatically into anything with cheezy genesis-y FM bass

but the harmonies here kept me locked in throughout.  the sort of melody in the vox that is total nonsense if you were to hear it alone, but kept in vibe by the prog-y trajectories
