Thought Ambulance

Noisy distorty simple fun times.

Reason>Marshall 30W amp with gain+clean+crappy 15w amp on clean+back to 30W with bass up and recorded drum and bass only>Audacity>dumb-downed M-Powered Pro Tools+some panning and compression and no mixing because lo-fi-life and presto!

Would've like to work more on it any maybe added some acoustic drums and guitar but with work commitments and life i didn't get around to it....And yeah i am one of those musicians that will listen to fuzz-drenced feedback and call it music to my ears..one of these days i will get a real synth.

Been on a Cough Cool binge lately, if you havent heard his music i recommend it to anyone that digs lo-fi stuff like this, but better.

^_^ I'm one of those musician too. I dig it

Very interesting. Like where you're going.

I like this release, its interesting. I use to do a bit of running things out through amps and micing them or using a load box. It takes a bit of work to try to preserve the dynamics of the original sound though. I think thats why a lot of mixing engineers do stuff like reamping then bring it back into the mix on its own track alongside the original so you can add back in some of the dynamics of the original.

CK

I considered that actually, i forgot why i didn't add the original track next to the recorded audio but my original idea was to have it completely distorted, but i tried it and like you said it needed dynamics so i recorded about an extra 3 tracks with a clean gain.

Listening to it now i'm still happy with it because the lo-fi quality was intended which did indeed sacrificed a lot of dynamics but I think if i ever do it again i will add back the original audio.
