Seagull Anarchy

So i drum in a surfgrind band, a perfect juxtapose of 2 different genres, but now i have taken it a step further and created...wait for it....CHIPSURF!!

Yes the first ever chipsurf song has been born, unless some other guy did it, then its the second ever chipsurf song.

This is also the first time i actually did some post-production on the LSDJ track, usually i'd just record it as is without any changes, but this time there was some extra EQ and stereo widening done on the track, as well the obligatory reverb. Oh and i tried out that speech instrument too.

I really enjoyed making these sort of tunes and they could work well performing them live aswell, which is something i would like to do before the end of the year. There are lyrics for this song that i was going to sing with my beautiful singing voice that I don't have, but since my microphone has gone AWOL i'll have to settle for an instrumental version.

I stole the song title from NWSPR. So thanks to him. Go listen to his music because its awesome.

You did it, and this is awesome!  One of my favorites!  Just the right balance of derangement and fun.  You are fully exercising melodic chaos theory.  Love the surfy guitar plucking in there with the insane 8bit beat. Regarding vocals, from what I hear, most chipsurf is instrumental so no worries.

i dunno anything about chipsurf but i do know what i like. and i like this.

Or maybe there's a whole chipsurf genre and this is just generic...but I don't think so smile
