Bruised Thumbs: Concrete Maple Savannah

By MLDVR on September 9, 2012 10:46 am

All true stories. Ever tried composing an LSDJ song with one thumb? Or carrying newly fragranced canadian maple planks at a construction site? I can say that i have now.

mrbeautifulmusic.bandcamp.com/album/liv … e-port-one "Oh, whats that? Could that be the  Mr.Beautiful live album that my favorite artist ever Seagull Chainsaw also happens to drum on? And its free?  Well i should go download it and cherish it forever and ever because its so cherishable" - said everyone that saw that above link ever.

those swells are sweet. and 2:19 - that section. awesome rhythms all throughout too.

Dude... one of my favorites!  This actually crashed my browser yesterday and my comment was never delivered.  Anyways, love the power and grit of those swells and then you get totally insane and almost orchestral in the arrangement during the more thrashy second half. Well played sir... and what did you do to your thumb?

Why thank you sir..and to answer your question, my thumb was squashed between a heavy plank of wood and a metal pole, it started bleeding under the nail, watched it go all red. It doesn't hurt now and my thumbnail is still intact but i can still see the dried blood under the nail..not sure what i should do about it if its any cause for concern at all.

You know what u made man, guuud ))
