This started out as a boss theme, and then morphed into something... else. Enjoy!

Rad beaks and acid lines! I cannot object to breakbeats, as long as there are no keds involved and the BPM is not 136.
You're right, this isn't a boss theme as it's rather calming and mysterious. More of an exploration theme. Flying through new skies, looking down at terrain below, noticing alien lifeforms.
I like that this is the less typical acid application style!
the mixing on this is awesome. lots of background stuffs
I remember that owlbear. It really wasn't much of a boss fight so that tracks.

Lol! Thank you for listening!

Yeah I think we talked our way out of it?
We can go back and do it right, don't think the cub would be hype about it tho
absolutely love this. would kill to know what went into the sound design each of the elements, especially the intro distorted seq/pad and also the lead at 1:30 - is that guitar??

For the intro, I found a pattern in microtonic, and then randomized all the parameters for each of the generators. Then I ran it through a lot of distortion, which is how I got that rhythmic distorted pad.
The leads at 1:30 and 2:00 were some guitar loops that I pitched down and chopped up :-)

Couldn't agree more. Pretty molodic use of the acid lines and excellent breaks. Epic and yet mysterious. The "flute" lead in the background adds a warm layer of melody to the kinetic energy of the track
BTW ... What game is the own bear from?
