You need to add claps to the track! 
That little woodblock riff that we first hear around 0:23 - very cool one. Great bass sound as well, it cuts through. Nice trip donw memory lane, back to the 80s!
I hear a much better result in your track, than the music was in the 80ies. Your groove and sounds are sharper and much smarter. Great work.

I really dig the beat. Feels like some nineties IDM made with classical early eighties sounds... anyway, really cool groove. A really original take on synthwave.
