Twelve Hours in Freefall

I've been at GDC all week and my brain is now a liquid.

One of my favorite week 12 tracks so far, top notch! I like how it almost has a feel of an old TV or radio overtone in the higher frequency range, interesting mastering or something.

+fav here, too—evocative instrumentation & vibe, with a lovely chord progression that always stays interesting

Thank you!

The high-frequency stuff you're hearing is almost definitely the cumulative effect of Analogue Obsession's Frank Channel-strip saturating in a way that emulates transistor op-amps being overloaded.
