We Owe the Pleasure

Very different from the light fun track of last week. This one's a little darker and ominous. Kind of surprised this is what came out, but it did, and I'll take it. Nice to see there's a variety of things that can come out. The demons are saying hello.
Improvised some words and word-like mouth sounds, vocoded on the Mininova. I said "To what do we owe this pleasure; to what do we owe this time." Or something like that. More shouts from the subconscious. Sometimes our fanatical pursuit for pleasure and fearful avoidance of pain doesn't always serve us as we'd hope.
I like the bass on this: it's an Ableton Operator preset they called Growing Binaural I found, and I love it. Looking forward to digging into the settings to learn more. Also some wavetable, some sample arp instruments, and three tracks of drums: some Linn sampled kits, Operator, and other misc. stuff.
Anyway, more importantly: Droids! After vocoding on the Mininova I did some frantic poking about and happened to get these fun droid-like sounds I included here. Excited about those. They came at price though: In all the poking about, I broke off the middle D key 
Worth it.

The underlying beat gives it a nice industrial sort of feel pushing those bleeps forward. Well done!
