I vote for keeping the vocals.  They add to the overall trippy vibe.  It defies easy categorization but I would say some kind of acid-house-tribal fusion with some extra pixie dust sprinkled on top.  I think I even detected some latin rhythms in there towards the end.  So add a little salsa to the mix as well?  Anyway, it's awesome unique stuff.

LOL that was actually pretty easy categorization!  That's EXACTLY what this is!  Great track, the vocals are great, and very important that I can't actually discern them because this is the kind of music I really want to vibe out to without paying close attention to any detail, I just want to swim in it and float

On the contrary I also think the vocals sit very well in the compo, the rhythmic chatter in the intro especially; it makes it feel like a reunion, like musicians in an orchestra getting ready, then the tabla (it sounds like a tabla, might be wrong!) hits and everyone follows in a dance. The harp is just wonderful, there's something quite whimsical about the whole track I like this headspace a lot!

Damn, I am so behind on listening to your tunes. The textures in this are really nice, hazy twinkly chorus stuff and delicate percussion. I like the crazy vocoder chord too. And solid bass!
