Keep It Simple

Keep it Simple. Something I need to remind myself of often. I had to say that out loud as I made this because I kept wanting to modify, but my real goal was just get some words down and feel better. Had a frustrating day at work. A lot of talking loud and saying nothing. Typing words no one will ever read. Took a walk in the park and called an old friend. He has other issues. One in the form of an inoperable brain tumor. He said he was in Ecuador, getting healed by shamans and being very sick. One of the healing processes he went through involved the healer killing a guinea pig and looking at its insides for insights. That one was new to me, and very creative. My friend assured me he's still a vegetarian, diet wise.
Sat down that night, tapped out a beat, some piano chords, looped it and started making up words. Grabbed some notebooks and real books to find prompts. The idea of a pusher walking down the street humming was from William Burroughs though, but my favorite ideas came from my day, and my friends conversation though. Ended up with many clips of words, took a few and strung them together here.
