The adventures continue! Our synth travellers continue to oscillate throughout dimensions. They have travelled to a dimension where they discovered a person who has done something truly amazing. He has .... become a Pokemon! His is a relatable tale. He wanted to be free. Free from taxes. From responsibility. He wanted evolution and power. But with power and no taxes comes a cost. Kids trying to catch you. Throwing balls at you. No more wife and kids. An amazing, but cautionary tale. What would you choose?
This is another one made from a live session with License (Octatrack for drums and Nord modular for some melodies) and D-Money (vocals on the mininova) and myself (monostation for bass, kaoss pad vocals and organelle flavor). I did a little less editing for this one than the last ones. Kept most of what we had for segments, but did little rearranging, and cutting down for time. This captures the fun ending we had too, where License kicked the power strip and shut the drums down. Also, I managed to keep the video we recorded intact and synced to these edits. Here's the video. VFX done with Zwobot, Max for Live modules. Still learning it. Did one pass through pressing some buttons, and threw on the good old VHS effect.
