Ah, Brother

Tweaked together some odds and ends from past tunes into this new mix. My lovely wife came up with part of this, the mallet part and bassline, on one of the all too rare occasions when we sit down and collaborate. Guitar by friend collaboration AM Faulks who posts videos to YouTube under Monstrosus ... I love these guitar parts and just keep tweaking the songs that use them to give them new homes. Title is from the buried vocal in there that was blurted out during the live session.

Nice!  I've often tried to get my girlfriend to contribute some vocals or something, but she's too shy even though I'm sure her voice would sound fine and I've told her I could slap a bunch of effects on it and make it unrecognizable.  Still no dice.  I did get her to whistle one time and she's a good whistler.  smile  Anyway this track has a nice upbeat vibe to it and got me bobbing my head along.  Have you thought of adding any kind of vocals?  Not that it needs them, but they might work well with this.

It rocks!

I hear you, I fail in my efforts to involve more often than not. Good whistling's quite a nice skill though smile. Glad you liked the groove. I do want vocals on this and many of my tracks. Haven't found the right collaborators, and I'm still working on mine. Doubt my voice will ever fully be there, but with some effects and vocoder, I plan on giving it a go one of these weeks!!
