One Chance

Some drum and bass. I wound up spending a ridiculous amount of time on the first thirty-two bars before realizing I had no idea where to take the rest of the track! I experimented a bunch with layering pads and other atmospheric effects, and I think it turned out pretty well.

As always, critique is very much appreciated!

I think it turned out pretty well as well. Nice melody/ changes.

i really dug the sounds you used on this. The only suggestion i can think of is to maybe separate the front and back half with a longer transition. it's definitely subjective, but taking the energy down for a bit longer before having the melody come in would give it more impact and give the beat a chance to take a break. good stuff!

re: the focus on the start - i know what that's like, it's easy to get wrapped up in sections. Wrestling with the same thing right now... great first but anyway, and it turned out with a pretty effective floorfiller sound I thought.
