Minikomi - Lost buttons

My first time at using my all new octatrack to actually make a track and not a loop. Came out kind of weird when trying to pitch the bass tone down, but sounds kinda cool regardless. Still getting used to the workflow, but here's an actual try at sequencing & arranging a track with a little progression. If I can keep it up, hope to look back on it in a few weeks time!

heart !!

Yeah, like you said, learning to make music all over again!

Glad to see you back at WB with your killer style. I'm actually planning on getting an Octatrack, so hearing this track is very interesting to me for sure. Cool vibes.

awww yes good ol' minikomi dub in da haus... I am going to try to up my octatrack game in the coming weeks, still got the old model but the cond trig updates makes it so much more usable! great dub vibe as always :3

@XC3N yeah, i'm on the "old version" as well.. conditional trigs are just awesome.

Not a great track, I feel, but it was worth it to learn how to chain patterns & use"parts".. now to sample more!

yeah got the same feeling using the digitakt for live takes, made me develop a couple of habits that flow better in a live environment

Love the dub vibe!

still noding my head

Thanks mate! Hopefully will continue to make you do so as I get better at the octa!

Ultra-groovy beat, and a nice little frequency modulation on the front of those percussive sounds.

Nice off-kilter dub. You definitely seem to know your way around that OT.

Nice. I dig your style
