hey mort,  the starting drum loop wit the claps is made with anlog rytm, internal filters/comp/od and allover sound is great. i tend to use it like an mpc, despite it having all these drum synths i still need to dive into (i need more time). kicks are always pitched down a least 4 semis. and probably the fabfilter saturn does a lot too.  grüße d.
