I had the pleasure of collabing with my buddy Saucey-dough this week. It was super fun, and super hard to play on guitar.

Copied from comments on Sauces page:  "Is this what weed looks like in the future?  Goddamn, this is fucking cool.  Good job bros.  Absolutely love all the rhythmic stuff going on here.  This is all 4:4 right?  All the syncopation and triplets make it sound like there'd be odd meter in there.  Drum part is super cool too man.  As a drummer of like 3 weeks, I can honestly say I'd have no clue what to play on this track."

Also, you're guitar playing is unreal on this man.  Next level shit, both in writing and playing.

That is a great one guys. Well done. smile . I could not play neither guitars or drums like that.

Killer track, the guitar reminds me a bit of owls/mike kinsella projects, who also happens to be from the Chicago area. Was this ever an influence in your playing style?

Haha! We actually decided beforehand to do a Chon/American Football style song for this collab. I'm going to have to listen to Owls, haven't heard too much.

heh, I was a huge cap'n jazz and joan of arc fan at one point, but I'm actually unfamiliar with american football... he's been involved in a lot of projects big_smile

Lovely! Listening second time through.  You guys are totally killing it.  Beautiful melodies and rhythms. You make this complex playing sound easy and the fun shines though smile

So many projects! I'll have to check out Owls too. Owen is another great acoustic chill project of his. You can hear the guitar stylings in a very different stripped down way.
