Another year! I'm super happy to be back. Decided to kick it off with a song about dirty water.

Nice big production and a catchy upbeat vibe to the whole thing. But boo to dirty water!
Welcome back, here's to a good year. This is groovy af. Interesting that the mix is so clean on a track about dirty water
Damn dude, I didn’t know Crestwood was Flinting it. Sweet song though man, love that chord progression in the outro.
Wow, this is super clean and well produced. Awesome job and happy 2020!
Damn, made my day! Huge like Elvis Costello. Loving this!! Great vocal layering and melotron sounding flute is a nice touch.
Is this where Corky is from?
Great stuff as usual. Definitely better than the water.
Corky is from a lake about two hours southwest from Crestwood.
dope song mike, fuck Chester

devieus, legit cracked me up w this comment....ohhhhh corky
it's possible that the contaminated water is behind Corky's insanity

I just checked the maps, and that checks out. Putnam is even downriver from Crestwood if I'm seeing it right.
That's pretty clever.
It's the truth though! mikememo is my older brother. We have a cottage near Putnam where Corky resides.
Loved this, has a very nice Mojave 3 feel to it. I'm still impressed by your ability to come up with lyrics in such a short time frame consistently.
Chesterrrrrrr. Can't get this out of my head. My only critique is that I'd love to hear the vocals a little louder so they can chop through the huge sound that you have goin' on.

That's pretty neat. I figure the Corky doll at least is real because of the photograph, but you never really know what's narrative and what's real. Considering the things Corky's supposedly been up to, the chain of credibility could rattle at any place.
Also I agree the voice is a little quiet in this.

Yes, Corky is indeed real. I think it was given to my brother as a gift when we were kids. Corky has led one hell of a life. Corky: the doll, the myth, the legend.
