Lucid Unrest

By midimachine on January 29, 2012 1:24 pm

Started this on Sunday, heh.
Mix is kinda muddy I think but WHATEVER I might do a ctrix and do re-eklybeats next year (or whenever).
The main instruments are a bunch of processed rhodes and grand piano samples. Got some timestretched 808 cymbals, CR78 drums, (pc'd)vocals, acoustic percussion and the Unique VSTi running as well.

Very nice! The percussion in the first half reminds me of crickets and sounds very cool, and I like when the drums come in too. Everything sounds awesome, great track!

The percussive elements with the rhodes is really nice.  The vocal melodies work well too.  Did you write all this on Sunday as well?  The mix doesn't sound very muddy on my setup.

Really great vocal tracking and composition.  Very cool! starts out so sparse but pulls in all these layers.  Love it!

@rdomain yeah everything was on sunday, i had a lot of spare time!
thanks everybody!

i'm running out of words for all these awesome tracks.

Another great one from midimachine! Nice!

Really really nice!

Nice job on the layered vocals. Great sounds throughout.

Yeah, those vocals are just right.  Nice job.

Very pleasant song.

Ooh, great work.  Nice composition and vocal arrangement.  Good, well-ballanced arrangement and nice progression and structure over all.  I enjoyed this a lot.
