I wish I had one more day to finish this track, it started to take shape in the last hour, needs more nice transitions and stuff and nice ending and decent mixing. Mixing done in last 20 mins by throwing otts left and right.
Started the track playing with veeseevst(vcv rack vst port) with macro oscillator2(aka plaits) set to chord mode. It almost always plays major6/9 chords, sometimes modulating to some random other chords. Later added arpeggiated synth playing the same chords, added some bitwig's glitchy effect preset, bounced all and then did bunch of manual chopping, slicing, repitching etc.
Notes to self how to improve this track:
more automation, more resampling, resample same synth with random arrpegiator instead of straightforward up-down one and slice more!
make b-section with more diatonic harmony and melody maybe?
make drums more interesting, more kicks, more glitches, more variations
replace kick maybe?
mix all shit from scratch
Hope you liked it, any critique is appreciated!

nice.
I like these arps, they're going mad. The drums are fine. For as long as it is, there isn't much to add to it other than more song.
Wow, lots of rich textures. Those arp glissandos against some of the rhythmic glitches is really awesome. All the effort and love shows through! Not sure where you take it from here but looking forward to future iterations
Thanks so much! Maybe will post an updated version in future submissions, that's not a bad idea actually to rework past submissions actually. Totally makes sense to me.

Thanks! Agreed, the song sounds like it's missing some second half, will work on it!
