Dispair by Moonlight

So, my Octatrack has been my main songwriting weapon for the past few weeks. This week, the power supply screwed the pooch leaving my song trapped in a little black box.

This was the last minute rush song over a few hours on Saturday and a few on Sunday. Of course I default back to 80s cinematic synthpop.

Bummer about the power supply on the Octatrack, but this makes a nice consolation song.  It has a very pleasant mellow feel.

Thanks! They said they'd mail it out on Monday so it might not be here for next week either. More experimentation!

Thanks, man! I have a definite style when I'm down to the last minute.

a requiem for the power supply!

Filter stabs where a happy accident when I was messing with the envelope but mistook it for amp. "Requiem for a Power Supply" is so goddamned good. Makes me want to retitle it.
