I'm using the first few weeks to establish a new workflow.
One interesting aspect of Weekly Beats is the opportunity to experiment with different approaches. Each week, I'm aiming to add new layers to my work.
In week 2, I created the song procedurally. I focused on making it cinematic while incorporating various layers.
For next week, I'll try adding a guitar or Rhodes to the mix.

I really like the percussion. Is that samples? I can't figure out what that instrument is but it's so familiar...

Actually, that's not a percussion; it’s a delay applied over some synths. The effect is dope, though smile
I'm using M8 with Chromaphone 3.

Yeah, love that percussion! Sounds Sort of like an udu drum. A bubbly, chill mood in this - the two textures work great together. Looking forward to how this evolves!

I like how the arps evolve over time. Wonder how you achieved that, you're saying "procedural"

I created a generic pattern over the same tonality and tempo, so the song keeps being filled with different things, but with a lot of randomly generated notes
