Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

This week I made it with modern electro in mind.
It was fun to keep the sound few and fill it with spatial FX.
Then I added a melody with distortion 808cowbell because I'm interested in phonk now.

I feel it comes to it's own around 2:00. Starting to groove because of the contrast. Well done!
Instant favorite: everything about this is badass -- love the drum work on this, am particularly partial to the minimalism of the sparse hats and the feeling of swing I get from that. Amazing phonk.
