Back this week with another “trace”, this time of Lomond by Loess. Lots of good ideas in there I picked up from transcribing the original track and put into practice here. The core challenge I’m trying to figure out is how to create and maintain interest when building a complete track out of a single loop. I think my favorite part is the use of field recordings to add shifting textures in the background.

We’re having another baby any day now, so this may be my last weekly beats for a minute. But I’ll definitely be back in the future, this has been really rewarding.
