Modern Disorder

By Lyons on July 25, 2014 4:30 am

Having back problems at the moment so I have been unable to play. So I re-arranged and messed around with my track from last week 'Ancient Order' to make the aptly named piece MODERN DISORDER.

In line with my WB challenge as all the tracks are double bass. NO MIDI!

Arranged this in the space of 2 hours waiting to go to the doctor. It was a very strange and surreal headspace to work with and I believe it is represented in the track. Mildly stressed about assessed performances and orchestra next week too.

Once again, a fantastic transformation of the source materials.

Back problems hauling around a double bass?

nice intriguing piece! I'm a big fan of your recent re-arranged and mangled stuff.

Thanks! No, back problem from overplaying/over-practicing.  I was hitting like 7-8 hours of practice each day during uni holidays. Slowly took a toll on me now. I'm back at uni now and had to cancel heaps of auditions because I still can't play. Slowly recovering though!
