F*ck this Heatwave

By Lyons on January 17, 2014 2:27 am

Had to turn off all the fans and record in a 43° studio to get this done. Spent 20 minutes playing bits and pieces then arranged it late at night when it was cool enough to return. With that being said it is supposed to be part of 'Black Metal Theme Week' but with a lack of time to record I don't think it evolved as far as it could have.

The form for this piece is great. Well done. Very energetic (compared to how I imagine you felt recording during the heat wave).

yeah thank you for rubbing it in. last week it was just cold and raining here in the netherlands. I hate you now but I love your new track!

Great piece!  The diminished head has the b5 so there's ya metal straight away  wink  Some hip tones near the end too.

I would kill to be in the cold and rain dude! The timbre of the double bass sounds heaps better in that climate.
