Culinary Quest

This week is a fun one, I actually started writing the tune on the guitar first rather then take the drums first approach! Then when it came to vocals, I just wanted to have fun. So I had AI write me some lyrics and about travelling through space and time to find the best foods. Hope yall enjoy. I know the mix is a bit off but I'm trying to figure it out. ill get there eventually. lol.

Lyrics-

In a time machine, I ride, searching far and wide,
Through the past and future, seeking tastes I can not hide
From ancient spices to futuristic delights,
I'll travel through time, savoring every bite.

Through Medieval banquets and cosmic cafes,
I'll sample it all, in this time-traveling haze
From sushi in space to burgers on Mars,
I'll taste the universe, reaching for the stars.

I'm a time traveler of flavors, on a culinary quest
Exploring through the ages, seeking the very best
From the past to the future ill roam,
In search of the ultimate dishes to call my own

In ancient Rome, I dine on lavish feasts
Exquisite flavors, fit for emperors and priests
Then off to the future, where food is a fusion,
Robotic Chefs creating taste-filled illusions.

I'm a time traveler of flavors, on a culinary quest
Exploring through the ages, seeking the very best
From the past to the future ill roam,
In search of the ultimate dishes to call my own

So join me on this journey, through time and cuisine,
As we unravel the flavors that have yet to be seen
For food knows no boundaries, it transcends all,
A timeless adventure, Where taste will enthrall.

Lol, I love the lyrical inspiration. You almost kind of have a Tenacious D kind of vibe going on here with the vocal delivery, maybe that's a source of inspiration you can lean into smile. Pretty impressive the number of melodic phrases you were able to devise.

Cool arrangement with the instruments too! I liked how you had transitions that showcased the bass and how you layered the acoustic and distorted guitars. I like the choice to at the end to fade out while giving prominence to the acoustic playing gnarly chords.

Nice use of acoustic guitars! Also I really like that breathy sound that opens the track. Sounds like ghosts or something! I like your singing voice too. It fits this song really well. The mix sounds pretty good to me. The different parts sound clear and separate. I think it takes time to get used to balancing everything how you like it. But I think with each week you'll learn little things here and there just from trying stuff out. But yeah I thought this sounded pretty good! Very creative and fun song.

I like the thick oldies sound. pretty clear sound, voice reminds me of the doors but instrumentation more like some kinda underground metal. also enjoyable ac guitar replacing the fuzz guitar.

Haha thanks man! I was definitely going for some kind of Tenacious D goofiness so that's awesome you got that! Musically, I think I did my best stuff! I was eating bread at the end btw. Fun tidbit.

You know the original lyrics were gonna be spooky so I did the breathing thing and then changed the lyrics but I liked it so I just left that in lol. Mixing is annoying cause ill change one thing and then something else needs to change, so I change that and now the previous thing sounds worse and its just like solving a rubics cube. Fucking annoying lol.

Thanks, I always enjoyed bands that use both Acoustic and electric so I wanted to give it a try!

Haha, that's great. I didn't realize that was a bread bite at the end. Now I hear it.
