Out of Time

We will be back to our regularly scheduled program of evil punk rock next week.

With Valentine's Day, a new lady friend, and an insane work schedule this weekend, I didn't have time to record the song I was working on (Good news is, it's 90% done and 100% silly for next week)

Instead, this is an interlude track (which we will revisit in the song next week (Inception!)).  Wanted to push myself and record a stand alone track with no overdubs.  I also figured out how to Re-Amp with my interface and Kemper, so this is the layout of all the guitar tracks (all Re-Amped from the original performance)

Left Amp - Old 70s Ampeg Head (Clean track (50% Left) and dirty track (100% Left) separate).
Right Amp - Orange Thunderverb 50 (Clean track (50% Right) and dirty track (100% Right) separate).
Center Amp - DI Track and whatever incredible sounding amp this guy is using in this video (Old Guy Shredding and Making us all look bad)

For those counting at home, that's 6 different versions of the same guitar track.

On top of all that, had some fun with FabFilter Saturn to give the whole piece some texture (glitch track buried on the left, static on the right, and some Loop Breakers in the end)

Equipment Used:
Guitar - Spear Gladius SP HT, neck pick up, coil tapped
Amp - Kemper with the profiles listed above
Software - Sonar, FabFilter EQ, Comp, and Saturn, Izotope Ozone 5
Beer - Stochasticity Project Grapefruit Slam IPA, Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale

nice tones, dude. can't wait to hear how this ties into the track for next week.

those are some sweet chords...we want more!
