not good with names

little late to the party but i've been meaning to do weeklybeats since like 2014 but thought this'd be a good way to  get back to putting music out again after a long time away from making it.

didn't want to overdo it so kept this one pretty simple by focusing on some interesting metallic rhythmic elements and some dreamy/melancholic atmosphere with some 808 to beef it up.

thanks to anyone to listens and gives any feedback. i'll do my best to set aside some time each week to listen to as many submissions as I can and leave comments on ones that speak to me.

This was a lovely place to visit, and the metal is good contrasting with the warm surrounding sound. It's very nice mixing I think, but for feedback, the metal is only a little loud unless it is your focal point.

love this! the beat is so punchy and the synth leads sound so calming

Soothing, I love it

Drums are insanely good, gloriously mixed and detailed AF, this slaps! Lovely decision to keep the melodic aspects sustained in counterpoint with the metallic percussive detail, too, this is ace. (Welcome, stoked you’re here, let’s gooooo)

Beautiful and rich, that low bass is doing work too, awesome start to your WB!

Very very lovely

Very cool, lots of movement.  Love the pad tones.

Welcome, my first WB too! Love the metallic percussion sounds, I think I always want to get to a place like this but stop short. My happy place is half speed melodies over a energetic rhythmic section, lovely work!

Idk how missed this wtf this is incredible like in every way
