didn't have as much time as i would have liked again this week, and again it feels like another half baked idea haha. this week started well with some interesting 4x4 rhythms but really struggled to get a good bassline that could be the framework to build some melodic structure whilst fitting the tone of the larger project idea i have been trying to develop.
as the last few weeks have not felt very creatively rewarding, it feels like these tracks have been straying further and further from that initial idea/framework to the point of not even recognising what it was in the first place.
the week to week deadlines have been good when the flow state of music making kicks in because you have a stopping point where you can focus on the best segments, but is really rough when ideas aren't clicking and you can't get anything that up to par but need to get something submitted.

the mix on this one is quite rough but hopefully you find something enjoyable in here.
