I ditched the M8 FM restriction this week as I wasn't getting anywhere with the weird gurgly, growling sounds that I designed. Hopefully I'll get to use them sometime during the year.
So instead, I visited my Digitakt and loaded up a few samples from a mysterious "Hideki" folder I previously put on the +Drive.
After a short bit of noodling I came up with this very short arrangement (I don't know how I ever used the DT without the song mode and slice modes hah) and performed it (ok, I twiddled the filter on all the tracks a few times) into Overbridge, ran it through Izotope for some basic EQ and called it a day. Unsure if I'll go back to the FM challenge next week!

wheeeeeee! good luck with the FM challenge but this is fun too. synths right after the 1 min mark are awesome
