lost mall music

You're in a mid 90's mall, perhaps in a strange dream sequence. A familiar song starts playing, but everything about it is wrong. The tune didn't go like this. The drums didn't go like this. Where are you? When are you? Huh?
Some sneaky shifty stuff in the cheapo version of Melodyne, far too much bad-processing in Ableton, going into the OP1-Field as a sample, lots of synthy stuff on that, then back into Ableton for some token levelling etc.
