CLK Out (Aleatoric Sequencing)

My effort at the aleatoric challenge.

Nice track.  What process did you use for the creation of this track?  Sounds like some use of arps?

This sounds great. Really awesome for an aleatoric song.

This sounds really nice. Curious about the process, too! I could hear this piece very happily in a "bohemian" style cafe in India.

Thanks. The sequencing is done with a modular synth, driven by a Wiard Noise Ring (which also provides the element of randomness), and its output put through a quantizer which forms the arpeggios.  All the tracks (minus a couple of pads from a JX-8P) are then put through a low pass gate for the percussive sound.

great sounds!! i liked this track a lot!!

Very peaceful smile

really nice sounds

my favorite of the aleatoric compositions i've heard so far. really cool smile

Beautiful sounds. smile

Cool stuff, I liek the percussion type stuff.

mmmm, modular.  One day I will invest.  A slippery slope though I'm sure!  smile
