moonlight wastings time

I had a dream last night that I stayed at a fancy hotel with sultry, dark maroon decor and tasteful brass trim. I booked a room that had a kitchenette with plenty of space to make lush snacks. I've been thinking all day about what those nice soft sheets and pillows must have felt like. With blackout curtains and thick walls I could've just slept for 3 days straight.

I would have left my phone at home. What could I want but snacks and sleep?

PO-32 through OTO BAM recorded into H1. No editing. No live tweaks, just pattern changes. Used all 16 patterns.

That's a cool dream, makes me think of vampires. I could see this song as a soundtrack to the vampiric hotel excursion. Impressive you have no edits in here and was just the PO. Nice planning and execution. The OTO sounds great.

Ha, I could see that. I feel like vampire lately, I just want to stay inside out of the sunshine.

I find the PO's are nice for that kind of workflow - I just back everything up, then I delete all the patterns and start building stuff up, modifying, etc. until I have something good going. Real similar to the Octa, or what I used to do on a tracker, but simpler. And yeah, the OTO has become pretty indispensable to me - I've been using it on most tracks this year.

Thanks for the nice words and for listening smile

Dreams are the best possible inspiration for trax IMO. This would be good for cruising around in the car late at night I think.

I totally agree on dreams. Fortunately mine are getting weirder, so that should be a good source of inspiration. Thanks, although it's probably a bit too sleepy for me to drive to it smile
