This paints a picture in the mind’s eye but I’m not sure what I’m looking at.
I like how you use in the distant background a persistent percussion flow and has this super sparse melodic beat on top.

I love this description/idea... this started with a texture that I stumbled on that gave me a similar impression (you can probably guess which).

I see clearly what you're saying with this track:
'tis a lonely dusty desert road, a gunslinger lies vanquished after a sunset showdown, he spits blood casually coughing his final breaths as he spots an owl swoop down to grasp a snake within its claws, a snake that was slithering towards him to snap at his dying remains while he was in his most vulnerable and final moment, and with one final choking breath, he finds peace in a more restful death, laughing at the humor of it all: life, as it teases and taunts us to think that there's something more that falls outside these windy trajectories, only leads us to the cruel realization eventually that it's all just one long, illusory and ironic circle!
But worry not! There is still hope! Like a phoenix rising, RisinG, RISING!
