This is a great idea vocal loops but of same loop length, short, enforces a tone, this would be a cool idea to try on nanoloop with multiple samples making chords. Thank you for the inspiration, great idea
Such a cool idea to play with this small snippets. Love the hugh amount of space and reverb behind the dropping vocal hick upps. Fantastic track.

thank you! the vocal input is all live, no samples here except what's hovering in the buffers of the filters, and the envelopes are slightly randomized - the length can be from about 7 to 150 ms. it gives me joy to share some inspiration with you as your music has given me lots over the years
Pretty dope sound design skills here. The samples ¿retain? a barely vocal quality, though remind more of a "computer start chime". I really enjoy the "drony" aspect of it while being quite tonal in nature.
thank you very much! I could totally see that - when the voices are truncated so much the quality changes a lot. I think the tonality comes from designing what is essentially a reverb, but instead of using the resonators to model a physical space with complex reflections, they simply form the notes a chord.
awesome gif

thank you so much it was fun to make and I spent more time on it than any WB so far this year. it feels good to explore and take my time.
Feels like sounds from within a water tank or a spring reverb unit. Chattering of aliens. Definitely some alien lifeforms.
draws me in to listen so closely: it's got that effect of a hushed piano-soundboard scream, like if someone holds the sostenuto pedal down on a piano and you scream into the soundboard, but then cut off the screamy attack and just have the reverberation after. killer sound-design!
Very subtle and mysterious things happening, agree on the alien lifeforms.
Really great sound design here, it sounds so cool, thanks for sharing

I love the water tank visual.

thank you this is such an awesome way of describing it, separating the reverb from the scream.

wow, thank you very much! I can definitely hear what you mean. I think if I expand this out more in the future I will probably shoot for more "glowy" or "wispy" and less "buzzy".
Very cool sound you’ve got happening here, and interesting to read a bit about how you put it together. Hypnotic, mesmerising, beautiful.
i'm barely commenting right now.
there is some godlike vocoder + spring reverb action here.
this would be an amazing sound installation to walk around a hallway and hear these sounds coming out of things

lolol.
thank you
that is an awesome idea. I am actually flirting with the idea of turning this into a norns script.
