Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I ran into a lot of dead ends trying to make the lead pattern work how I wanted, got burnt on it, and decided I had better things to do with my time. So here's a little loop with some kind of neat sound design and some pretty basic boring algo-comp. Hope you enjoy somewhat.

Thanks man! When I do SC I like to make just 2 or 3 synths so the lead, hi hat, and snare are the same synth engine. The pad is really similar to the one I used in that longer SC track I did a couple months back.
Yeah algorithmic composition. Using the term pretty loosely here, where I basically made melody and beat with a shitload of random numbers and a little addition and subtraction 
The nice thing is you get a ton of variation even when the loop is just running along doing its thing.
Very cool in a glitchy way... like electronic popcorn!
