This Old Purse

By lhrin on July 10, 2024 9:16 pm

Upon thinking about all the “stuff” I carry around in my purse and on how it has changed over the years – this song came into being. It was curious to me that when I was a girl it was such an important part of being a girl and it did truly evolve over time.

There have been times when I really wanted to ditch the purse but while writing this I figured it was a net gain and beats a backpack sometimes.  Thanks for your comment.

Hmmmm. I could never wait until after school. smile Yet another winner Ms. lhrin. I can see a legitimate album coming from all your hard work here in WB. Keep 'em coming! Is it 4:20 yet?

WOW! Such an awesome track. I think this could have been a Nr.1 hit in the 70ies. You have a great voice and I am heavily impressed. Thanks for sharing.

Kind of feels like a 60's or 70's easy breezy song with the flute. Nice stuff.
