Ugh. Can't say I'm particularly proud of this one. tongue Oh well. Maybe next week.
In the meantime, be sure to get out and vote!

That acoustic guitar and drum pattern work in tandem for a great basis for the song. That pulse in the top end sounds really cool for the arrangement with those pads providing the forward melody. I really dig the foray into the distorted guitar samples! Tasty chord at 02:29 too. Definitely going in my favourites.

this track has a lot of potential. the drums kinda spoil it for me, bc they sound very artificial.
1:12 great guitars and melody here. and yes, 2:29... nice.

This song definitely stands tall.

I like how this track builds up, especially the section where the climbing chords are doubled with the guitar.

Thanks! In retrospect, I wish I hadn't leaned into the top line pulse for so much of the track, but hey, lesson learned. Glad parts of this still worked out okay!

Thanks for the feedback! Good points - I think in next year's off-season I might try to reevaluate the way I approach the beats in my tracks. But thanks for listening in the meantime!

Thank you!

oh my goodness this track is so good I am LOVING the guitar, I was like, "wait did I play on this?"

and then lol I come to the description and it says "UGH" whatever, I don't care about your opinion of your work!  I love this track!  I would probably just want an aggressive mix (u kno me) with super loud drums and guitars - maybe I can cover this track with acoustic guitar/electric guitar/trumpet/vocals/drums???????
