octobers & orchards

By levelcapybara on October 23, 2022 9:28 pm

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Auburn abscissions,
a scarlet canopy, and
apples aplenty,
**
each of them basking
in hazy afternoon rays
and midday drizzles.
**
Carmine, green and gold,
glittering altogether.
Cold, and also warm.
Can you believe October is almost over already? Feels too soon. sad
At any rate, Happy Week 42 everybody! Just ten more weeks to go. Keep up the great work and make 'em count! big_smile
I know I do. I really enjoy these calming sounds, perfectly fits the mood.
Oh i like the pad that comes and goes, like waves on the beach. This gives a slow pace to the track, like a calming respiration. The sparse piano brings a different texture to the track. This is a very interesting way to build a track, I like that!
Rest and tranquility abide here. May everyone who find themselves here relax and enjoy a much needed break.
ooooh yeaaah... like an aural sponge bath.
longer version pleeeeze!
boy I wish you could see the view outside my window - the sunlight through the trees is hitting perfectly with this track.  Love the swells.
this feels more october and orchards to me though????? hmm????  split single with the same song titled two different ways maybe?
Now that you say that,
I think you're totally right,
so I changed it back.
Plus, your input encouraged me to flesh out the original haiku to get the point of both titles across. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you! It's a style I love revisiting every now and then.
Aww, thanks you! Hopefully in the midst of the WB craziness, you'll find a chance for a well-deserved break too. big_smile
Hehe, that's quite a compliment. big_smile Maybe if I can settle on another platform to start putting music on, I'll get a longer version going. In the meantime, thank you!
I love this, those swells are gorgeous and relaxing with the sparse piano. I also like that slightly darker/contemplative chord at 2:34 signaling the ending.
Thanks! And sure thing: for this one I used a combo of male choir sounds (Voices of War & a patch from Alchemy), reinforced with orchestral bass (CineStrings Solo, I think, but can’t remember off the top of my head) and backed by a distorted “rainy” timpani roll (CineSymphony Lite). The solo instrumentalist parts were courtesy of CinePiano, CineBrass Descant Horn, and Evolution Songwriter. So, mostly CineSamples VSTs (except the guitar) with a bit of tweaking.
