everlasting twilight

By levelcapybara on June 21, 2020 11:43 pm

Yesterday (or maybe today, not sure which) was the summer solstice. The longest day of the not-quite-longest month of what feels like the longest year we've ever had.

Anyways, sun's out. Dark Souls fans, you know what to do. smile

Also, Happy Week 25 of 52! (It's a palindrome: 25/52. Neat.) Just one more week and we're halfway through.

And Dad:
1) Happy Father's Day.
2) Sorry I drive you nuts sometimes.
3) Thanks (for more than I can count).
4) Love ya.

Nice man, the the atmosphere.  I like how you were able to develop a whole melodic idea out of just quarter notes against that constant piano note.  Really makes the parts where that notes drops out seem like a really drastic contrast.

Ah, if only I could be so grossly incandescent...

Awesome sounds, evokes an image of a misty forest at night for me.

This track is beautiful. So simple and subtle, and so elegant for it.

beautiful mood in here. love this composition. songs like this make weeklybeats so valuable.

Smooth.

Love this, it has that sense of solitude and wide-open space that you do so well. Strange to think we're halfway through already but there you go.

Praise the sun.

That is one very nicely done delicate track.

pretty sure how this makes me feel is somewhere in this list: https://thoughtcatalog.com/lisa-woods/2016/10/23-words-for-emotions-everyone-feels-but-cant-explain/

...

uh yep there it is number 3 "monachopsis"

Nicely done

Thanks so much! The track started with that one idea, so I'm glad it turned out okay.

Neat! I like keeping nature in mind when I'm writing.

Hadn't heard of monachopsis before, or even the concept of words for indescribable emotions. Interesting!
