Hope everyone's doing okay. 31 weeks down, 21 more to go. Keep up the great work everybody!

I'm liking the inclusion of the short poems with your tunes. This one kind of reminds me of some of the environmental music for the Stormblood expansion of FFXIV. Like a Kugane theme, definitely makes me want to play that game again haha. Have you composed for a video game before? If not I sure hope you do someday because I think you'd do a great job at capturing moods. I think music is one of the most important elements in a game to capture the heart of a player, but then again I'm a musician so of course I'd say that haha.

I've finally gotten so used to doing weekly beats that thankfully I stopped paying attention to how far we are haha. I'm excited to get to the end, it'll be quite the achievement. I'll see you at the finish line wink

Reily, that was a haiku.  Digging the instrumentation on this one again this week.  The koto, drum and flute thing is really working for me.  Definitely has a really authentic far east sound to it.

Is there a Chrono Cross Far East level that I didn’t know about? wink Awesome work as usual, this has some fantastic instrumentation and harmony.

Every element comes together for a beautiful composition. This reminds me of so many games I enjoyed. I agree on the Chrono Cross comment haha.

Wow, great composition. Poetry's pretty spot on too.

very nice intrumentation. A very tasteful composition. lovely.

downloaded and favorited.  the poem is so powerful and really puts a very emotional tone on this for me.  not sure how you get to be so talented, please explain the secret!

The composition and instrumentation and mixing is just so chillllllllll

This comment made my week. big_smile Composing for games is a dream of mine, and I really appreciate that encouragement. Also, I've been meaning to listen to more of the FFXIV soundtrack, so I'll be sure to dive into Stormblood's music at some point. See you at the finish line! Really looking forward to your tracks for the rest of the year.

Thanks! Glad to know the track and the haiku resonated. Things are less hectic now than they were when I wrote it, but they'll pick back up soon enough. Life sure moves fast.

Haha, if there is, I couldn't say: I love the Chrono Cross soundtrack but I've never gotten to actually play it! big_smile Still, that's a really kind thing to say. Thank you!

Thank you! Now if only I could write free-flowing melodies like Yasunori Mitsuda...

That means a lot to hear. (And I could ask the same of you, with your knack for catchy songwriting.) smile Thanks so much, both for the feedback and the Simpsons gif!

Very relaxing vibe with world beat flavors. I like the sparse intro into the lush textures that roll in at :15. Great instrument sounds and chord patterns. Very nice!

Ohh cool, I love the new instruments in this one. They add an extra dimension of texture that complements your usual instruments nicely. Extra shout out for the poem this time, I really like it!

Thanks! I've been trying to use different sounds than usual lately (partly because the KORG M1 vst I used to rely on still isn't back in operation...ugh). Glad to know the poem turned out okay this week too. I was definitely feeling it when I wrote it.
