The tactician prepared
her advance square by square
and her sword split asunder the air.
“By the sheen and the glare
of my shining blue hair,
let the dragon god come if he dare!”

Dedicated to those who fight for their friends, so to speak.  Happy Week 8!

This is AWESOMEEEE! Totally brought me back to my days playing RPGs on SNES.

This is quite the epic journey.  I really like the voices.  They give it an added gravitas.

Ooooo, didn't expect those quick runs. Overall really enjoying the spike in energy in this piece. The instrumentation and arrangement are great! Really good use of layering and variation.

Ok, instant favorite! This is just amazing! The composition is top notch, and the vox and the brass, just wow! heart

holy moly! was not expecting vocals, horns... oh my. just elevating. killer tune!

Got the fire emblem vibes from this one. Love it!

wow, the vocal is perfect! this is epic.

A wild pizza slice appears!

I really like the buildup in this. Very nice JRPG style battle theme.

Extremely cinematic, in the Reich/Glass-way. Excellent piece...

Those sudden minor chords are saucy. It does seem to lose steam as it keeps going though, suspension chords aren't meant to be held on to for that long.

Haha, I WISH a mystical pizza would appear.  (Or any pizza, for that matter.)

Fair point - I've gotten similar feedback about the length, so I'll see what I can do to keep things fresh all throughout going forward.

This is also awesome man! What kind of sound do you use? Are they sampled stuff (kontakt or other)? And what do you use for synths? Thanks! The brass are really nice!

Thanks! I actually tag the names of the VSTs I use each week – you can find the names beneath the track description. (The brass comes from CineSymphony Lite. I've been getting a lot of mileage out of that lately!)
